Building a synergy between mentors’ field practices and teacher-trainees’ performance in student teaching

The gradual change from the position of a teacher-trainee to role teacher depends on effective teamwork between educational institutions and wider education community. Hence, this<strong> </strong>study ascertained relationship field practices college deans, supervising instructors, school principals, teachers teaching performance teacher-trainees. A descriptive-correlational study was employed in this study. rating scale used collect data mentors teacher-trainees who served as respondents. Descriptive statistics such frequency counts, percentages, weighted means were describe levels mentors’ To establish significant variables, Spearman rank-order correlation coefficient used. Results show that when principals cooperating manifest an exceptional level student teaching, it follows all dimensions are highly practiced. Further, exhibit exemplary performance, other also found be remarkable. Finally, outstanding practice shows minor or slight influence
